WHAT IS PILATES?
Pilates, originally named Body Contrology by its creator Joseph Pilates, is a complete physical conditioning program, incorporating strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and endurance training
The dual emphasis on movement awareness and efficient body mechanics is key to improving posture, alignment and overall body balance. The integrated focus on both extrinsic and intrinsic core muscle groups addresses the body as a whole.
What is Fletcher Pilates? Fletcher Pilates evolves directly from the original method taught to Ron Fletcher by Joseph and Clara Pilates. An emphasis on rhythm, flow and breath's integration to movement, make Fletcher Pilates a continuous and challenging movement experience.
The program contains the full classical Pilates syllabus along with Ron’s own Fletcher innovations. The Fletcher Towelwork , Fletcher Floorwork , Fletcher Barrework™ and Percussive Breathing™ techniques creating an even more comprehensive movement experience.
Reformer Pilates Private Session
Think Pilates, but with extra bite.
Caroll's Dynamic Reformer Pilates offers all the postural, flexibility toning and injury-prevention benefits of traditional Pilates. But it goes a step or three further.
Along with our own refinements, we’ve added elements from other exercise disciplines, including circuits, weights and spin.
The result is an intense and demanding full body-workout that sculpts figures, builds lean, toned muscle, fast, and will leave you buzzing with endorphins.
Pilates Mat classes develop optimal posture, core strength, flexibility and overall body awareness. Each class is designed to challenge you to the next level, while providing a safe movement experience.
